I'm deb and I have taken a different path
I have over 35 years experience working in, advocating for and learning how to engage with diverse stakeholders to collaborate on achieving a vision.
From corporate corridors to the red earth of the outback, buddhist monastery’s to African fire ceremonies, I've learned from and lead with some of the world’s most innovative minds.
Whether it's designing openings or plenaries for conferences, facilitating executive retreats, leadership development, cultural transformation programs, face to face feedback programs, or coaching individuals or teams through appreciative enquiry and action based learning, I like to keep learning, keep discovering and keep leading our transition to new ways of being and working in our world.
For me, it's all about seeing the world as one inter-dependent living system which we can influence, but not control. The more we understand how our actions influence our outcomes, the more we can create better choices, and create an enabling environment for ourselves and others to thrive. In an enabling environment creativity and fulfilment are just two significant outcomes. Qualities that are out of our reach when we control our environment.
When we discover how to work together inter-dependently, creating a safe space for people to express all of themselves, warts and all if necessary, we create fertile ground for new possibilities. Creating workplaces and communities where people feel safe to experiment, express, connect and work together creatively.
And for the scholars out there, I also have an M.Ap.Sc (Hons) in Social Ecology, Degrees in Business and Education, Company Director Certificate, and a plethora of Certificates in out of the box ways to learn, think and work together; Social Artistry, Equine Facilitation, InterPlay Facilitator and more.
